Cheap Homes
Yes there are some really cheap house out there. In this economy,
it isn't a surprise that many people who have recently filed
total
bankruptcy are motivated to sell their home fast and for
a large discount. That's just one of the reasons cheap homes
are available. You'll find examples of some of the most inexpensive
towns in Chapter Three of my book. One of them has homes priced
at under $30,000 right now. In Chapter Four, you'll learn exactly
how to find your own ideal town with affordable housing.
Great news! The book is now free! I wrote it around 2005,
and updated it occasionally, so parts are a bit dated--no more
no-doc and interest-only loans. It's no longer for sale, but
since it's still packed with valuable info, I put it here on
this site. You can start with the introduction and the links
to all pages here: Cheap

the true costs of a home when you get excited about this or that
option, but try to look at the true costs of buying as well as
the true ongoing costs. Here in Florida, for example, you might
think you are saving the monthly dues by buying a house instead
of a condo, but insurance could cost as much as those dues. look
