Cheap Homes
Yes there are some really cheap houses out there. In this
economy, it isn't a surprise that many people who have recently
lost their jobs are motivated to sell their home fast and for
a large discount. That's just one of the reasons cheap homes
are available. Then there is the fact that some towns are just
plain cheap. You'll find examples of some of the most inexpensive
towns in Chapter Three of my book. One of them has homes priced
at under $30,000 right now. In Chapter Four, you'll learn exactly
how to find your own ideal town with affordable housing. If you
plan on getting a new home and want to save even more on home and car insurance,
be sure to do research and see what offers are out there.
Great news! The book is now free! I wrote it around 2005,
and updated it only occasionally over the years, so parts are
a bit dated--no more no-doc and interest-only loans, for example.
It's no longer for sale, but since it's still packed with valuable
info, I put it here on this site. Start with the introduction
and the links to all pages here: Cheap
Homes for Sale

Tip: Take the Time You Need - March 25, 2012
- We recently bought a home in Florida, and we were frustrated
by the time it was taking to find the right one. In the end,
though, by having several deals fall through we ended up buying
a place in the best location of all that we had seen. Unless
you truly need to move now, take the time to get it right.
